11BangBang
Im running 2 Hifonic 1200,s and a Hifonics 600 off of 2 optimas and a stock, and a 220 amp alt everything is wired parallel and works fine. I think if you went with stock, and a 300 amp alt and a kinetik 1800 or 2 in the back you would be fine. Hifonics are not to power hungry. 2001 Tahoe Alpine IVA-W505 2 OPTIMA's RED/YELLOW DUAL ALTs 140/220 (2) HIFONICS BXI1280D (1) HIFONICS ZXI6408 (4) ALPINE SPR-13S 5.25 (4) ALPINE SPR-17S 6.5 (2) KICKER 15L7 at 1 ohm 4.5 CUBIC@38HZ

c0smo kram3r
I say: (2) PowerMaster D3100s in the back (Better than Kinetiks.) Two runs of 3/0 to the back (positive & negative). A 300A alt. 1/0 from back batteries to amps. So yeah, you're looking for at like $1500 at least for all of that.

I'd rather see you do two runs of positive 1/0 and ground to chassis. 3/0 is ridiculous and hard to work with if you don't buy the right stuff. You might look into a 225 or 250 b/c the 300s don't have high output at idle. Smaller ones can almost drop nominal at idle. If you're really wanting Kinetik, get the 3800. It's bigger than the D3100 and cheaper in the right places. Need an install? Hit me up.[email protected]Got car audio questions? Guest KyleCannon
I would personally say give robbie a call at dcpowerinc.com. Even if you don't buy your alts from him, he will definitely help get you on the right track with your electrical. As for the batteries, I would do 2 Powermaster D3100s as well.
