Clif
easy way to figure out ohm loads for bigginers is go to rockford fosgates website. they got an ohm calculator. if they dont have a choice for 6 4 ohm subs then do 3 dual voice coil 4 ohm subs. its the same thing. Clif
thats for 8, for ten of them they would not have a diagram but it would be a 1.6 ohm load Edit: Are those subs only available in 4 ohms? mrafrica
yeah they are only available is single 4. so would 12 make a final load of 1 ohm or under i take it? man this is gonna cost me. at 80 apiece for 20 its just gonna be 800. then with two more possible.hmm. might have to rethink this. cause ill need to still get supplies to make the box and then more wire. ive got all the power wire. and might be getting an amp to push them for my birthday for 120 =] and then ill see if i can get someone to buy me atleast 6 for my birthday. this is gonna be tricky Quote And far as the best connection ever....... get a huge fucking battery, cut the top off, drop an alt in there and then pour all that into your big amplifier. or just smelt them all together. Boon
You only get a true 1 ohm load with 4 subs or 16 subs. You can get close on either side of 1 ohm with funny numbers of subs but it takes some funky wiring. Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
mrafrica
oh ok thanks. so i might go with 8 but with 4 on an amp. so ill have to get two amps.
