E-Train
For 4 15's I would definately reccomend alot of bracing for your box, unless your making it out 1.5 inch steel, so yeah some 2x4's or wooden dowels work good, alot of people use all thread which takes up less space inside the box, just dont forget to account for internal bracing when you calculate your box volume Quote 1997 4 Runner Alpine CDA-9886 4 Fi Audio X Series 12's 1 Crunch GP3000D Pro DC Power Inc. etaks_crew
Edit:^^^ Damn You!!! It's just bracing you can do 2x4's, Inch and a quater wood dowels, All thread its up to you I'd do the all thread. Because it takes up less room and is prolly the strongest. penguin3820
basically its like a column in a building... it helps to support it and keep it sturdy. Its recommended for that type of weight and power Quote 2004 F150 super crew 15" fi btl Ma Audio hk4000d

Its recommended for that type of weight and power so i just put 2 of the side to side to keep it strong and the port size whats the best for more spl and air Quote ALPINE IVA-S106 AUDIO CONTROL EPIC CENTER Jl Audio 1000.1 (4) Jl Audio 300/4 (2) MTX 9500 (4) 15" MTX TXC ( 6.5" 260 IRRAGI ALT BIG 3 Los Angeles – The gang capital of the world

cunokyle
I recommend using threaded rod. NAPA Auto Parts or your local auto parts store should carry it in varying sizes and lengths. Hardware stores would as well. Just be sure to get enough nuts/washers to do both sides of the panels.
