tacomabanga1986 Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 does mounting ur tweets on the apillar like that yeald a good on axis sound? and on deading your doors, my door pod things are made for 6&3/4 speakers but they sent me 6&1/2's instead so i had to make them do, and i was thinkin bout takein that plastic piece out and redoin it with 1/4'' birch and prolly make a lil pod for the speaker to set in or what knot so i can get a "fuller" midbass up front, and i got a pioneer premire 860 am i able to go active? it has front and rear xovers from 50-200htz with 12,6,passave db slopes on those channels, but im goin for a clean sound cause i like my music loud and clean not all that boomy anymore (no offence to bassheads), i mean i love loud bass but i want a more clean richness to my sound, do you have any rear fill? and look at my setup in my sig n see if theres anyways to redo it to get more sq, i got front n rears ran off a memphis 150.2, and my midbass 8's ran from a boss 820 300wrms amp, and a memphis 1000.1d runnin subs, is there anyway to set it up to get more sq, i want my mids to play notes from 50-60htz up or try to get midbass to play from 50-70, mids n highs to play from 70-80 + and subs from 50 below? i want my mids n highs to do the punchy notes while the subs just play lowend? is it possable to do with mysetup? sry for all the typeing i just wanted a real sq gurue's opinion here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There were 3 classes - Stock - Beginner(allowed 1 mod) - Pro(2+ mod) I was in beginner class and placed 1st. looks alot better with the edead covered up, glad you cleaned it all up looks real presentable now. It is overkill from Second Skin, basically the same product as ensolite, its a neoprene closed-cell foam. Works great for sandwiching them between the door panel and door, it creates a decoupler between them to try to stop panel vibration. Also helps with some road noise, not a lot. Megalomaniac Posted March 11, 2009 Author Report Share Posted March 11, 2009 I wish deadened the panel behind the mid more than I deadened the baffle panel the mid is on. That back panel could use this liquid deadener imo. I wish I had an big air compressor to spray it on neatly instead of spreading it. It works great if you lay it on thick enough. This carpet matches better and matches the enclosure.
