What Do You's Use

just wanting to get ur guys ideas. what do you's use to hold your subs in, screws, lag bolt, etc.. i have always just used some really beefy screws. this might sound funny but don't hurt to ask, you'd be amazed others ideas. thanks

ive used deck screws if I can find em

otherwise its the normal drywall screws i have kicking around

most companies will give you screws, some like mtx will give you sweet screws (like the 95 series beefy silver allen key ones)

t-nuts are a step above though

i put wood glue in the whole and on the deck screw and i put it in with a bit of saw dust....(just for extra hold)

i have some of those allen head screws that are almost like a lag bolt as far as the threads go, but got them from my brother, always forget to look at the hardware store, do they carry those, you think?

This pic is from my hitch cover build, but they are the same that I used in the box as well.

I used these, but didn't need the little washers on the subs. Just the allen head machine screws and t-nuts.

You can get them at home depot and lowes, but they are shit quality and way over priced. Try and find a specialty screw and bolt shop locally and you should be gold. We've got an Ace bolt and screw here in town. They are my #1 first stop when I need hardware.
