RamenNoodles
had the same problem on my gp3000d on that very song. Only song it ever did that with. I upgraded headunits, and got a new alternator and never had a problem. My guess was it was the headunit sending a bad signal. eliassami5
the same thing happened with my hifonics brutus 1500d, turned down the gain a tab bit and that helped. yea i might do that if i notice more songs going into protect...but for now im just not gonna play that song so high, i usually never play anything over 42 volume (gains were set with the volume at 75%, which on my HU, thats 45 volume) but since i hadn't heard it in a while i turned it all the way up to 45 volume and im guessing with the eq settings that ive got on my HU it caused the signal to clip. thx for the help everybody Edited February 13, 2009 by eliassami5 Quote 91' Jeep Cherokee - The Heep Just Empty Every Pocket 96' Volvo 960 - The B◘x [sPL_4_U] HiFonics - Alpine Pioneer - Clarion Infinity - Kicker KnuKonceptz
