Which Subwoofer?

Recommended Posts

the subs are dual 2 ohm.

wire each sub up to 4 ohms (voice coils in series.)

then wire all the subs in parrallell (drops it to one ohm )

if you dont know the difference between parrallell and series. maybe you should stop right now. pick up a book or two

i know the difference. like i said, i know things about them, i just can't hook it up myself. i'm not that good.

but thanks for telling me what i should do. that helps.

i'll be happy to do 130. lol. and to be honest, i haven't heard anything over 150 watts. i have 140 in my bedroom but i have 300 watts in my living room.

4 15"s, 8 mids, 8 highs. i haven't turned it up more then half way.

and i hope to NOT hear something about that. but i may.

im rootin for ya. but imho i think 5000 rms would be more than plenty for you. save some money.. spend it on rims or something you can bolt on.

also i have more respect for someone making a lesser system loud. it take alot of knowhow and experience.

(not takin anything ways from you big wattage guys thats still a feat.)

i think youd be fine with two 15s and around 4000 rms focus on your electrical and box design.
