Could I place my HC600s in here?

Recommended Posts

So been looking at where im going to place my batteries...

I can fit two easily under neath each middle row seat (two seats only not 3).

So I was thinking where else would be a good location to place the batteries.. Then I thought about placing them here in the middle consule (between driver and passanger)...I could easily fit three in there going front to back, maybe four...And going top to bottom im pretty sure I can squeeze four in there..

My only concern is there's no where to ground there for the batteries -

Would I be fine running 1/0 wire straight from the chasis to the batteries (about 10ft of wire)?

Really Ray?

I woulda thought to just MAKE some nice chasis grounds closer to the batts...?

I spose it's not like the 18" rule w/ an amp since it's just a battery that's gonna be part of the electrical and it won't necessarily "overheat" like an amp might w/ a too long ground, but still I would assume the shorter the better.

OR would it be OK to run the ground 10ft AND jsut be BETTER to make a shorter run? Like OK, Better, Best scenario? I know of setups (none I built) that have run amp grounds all the way back to the amp and been "ok" but "OK" & BEST are 2 different things

<--curious now.
