Be there by 1pm leave by 4pm, I never did bass race before, this was my first time, was actually pretty hard... I over listened one guy say, "Turn the volum all the way up, hit pause, then work your way down" I did that, and kept getting high scores, then dropped, and peaked way over my limits. Today I have a much better constant song, should work better, and will actually take the pro's advice, not the other guys advice, and start low, and work up high I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. Forevrbumpn Posted February 12, 2007 Author Report Share Posted February 12, 2007 I was there from 1pm- 330pm today, didnt compete today, because I didnt want to spend the extra $25 added on from yesterdays $50. But I did get in free, and drove my truck up to the comp. I didnt do to great in Bassrace yesterday, but I went home, did some changes to my box, and wireing, and finally got a really nice, strong set up for the second run, but like I said, didnt want to spend the $25. I ended up taking out 1-15" and ran just 1 sub, in a ported config on my box, and got louder, but also ran at 2ohms, over 4ohms, so 1800 on 1 sub, over 1100ish on 2- subs. Ended up sounding nicer, and louder than that iso tline bandpass design (yet still slumps like a mad man) I know Meade got some new videos for show ;-) I just missed the 2 chicks at one time hair trick I have a ritual called "terminator".
