chubalicious
Ok so i wanna do a loud ass system but i dont completely want to break the bank. I will be buying 2 18'' RE Audio subs but im unsure which amps to use with them? I was just looking around and saw a Power Acoustik 3000 watt mono amp that pushes 1800 watts rms @ 2 ohms and 2300 rms @ 1 ohm. Now is this gonna be a good amp for these subs or not? I also want to run each sub its own amp. What are some recomendations without being to pricy and most likely i wanna run the 18" Mts's from RE. What are some good choices in amps? Prices? Where to find them? Thnks

I have the t1000.1bd and it pushes 1400 watts clean power. another good brand I have heard of but I haven't experienced with is Sundown. crutchfield has a good selection and sonicelectronix fills in the gaps for what crutchfield doesn't have. Good luck Quote Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
etaks_crew
Dont forget about AQ the 2200 is only like 389 brand new shipped. And I heard it does at least 2200 RMS at 1ohm
Mosin
Hifonics IMO is your best bang for the buck amp. if your looking for 2300RMS look at the Hifonics BXi2608D its rated at 2600RMS but its a little over-rated. Good amp for around $380 on Ebay. Quote Derp.
wL<3bass
I like my Rockford amps.. they aren't pricey at all if you know how to look for good deals and are willing to wait. thehoe92
I have just noticed something. Whatever the person that responds is running is most likely going to say run what they are running. I did it and solo_x18 did it. So IMO the best thing to do would be listen to what other people have. Go to shows locally and ask the guys what they have. All of the competitors are going to be glad to tell you since they have put so much time into the builds. thehoe92
My goall for my build is gonna be 150db plus and still be able to play regular music save for electrical. first get a good alternator to power the batteries you need. an amp is only as powerful as the power you are providing it. kind of an obvious thing but if you have a 2000 watt amp and you only add a battery and keep your stock alt than chances are you aren't going to hit that 150db Quote Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple

thehoe92
what i plan on doing is running all 1/0 wire, an upgraded alternator and a few batteries sounds good to me. what car are you putting this in? also in order to achieve the 150 you will need to have a well-built box. powermaster, kinetik, and optima. can't go wrong with either. quality in order respectively IMO.
