Torres Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 alright so lemme break it down to you real quick...my *master* sundown amp is stuck in protect. the slave is fine, just the master. last night i installed 1 of 2 new batteries. all in fine and dandy. i let them trickle charge overnight, and before i started the charge, i disconnected the power wire from each amp (a long while ago i jump started it with one and my old amps popped and smoked a lil...so i wanted to play it safe even tho it was a 2 amp charge). so that was the ONLY thing i did to the amps or anything back there. so this morning i disconnect the charger, rewired the power wire and head to class. after about 30 minutes of driving, the bass just stops. it wasnt full blast, probably at about half volume. my voltage was fine. it took hard thumping to get my voltage to drop...which at that listening level wasnt enough. especially with my added battery. i checked my wires. all wires were firm. i took the RCA's out and tried to turn it on (was told that might be the problem). took the wiring out and let it sit and tried again and still nothing. it's stuck in protect mode. any ideas? i'm lost. i tried searching but to no avail

DC POWER
