What Dose The "big 3" Actually Do

can some one tell me the facts of what the use of it actually.. will it make a big difference i have 2 hc600 batts in the back and everything is hooke dup but im getting new wire with in this week and im doing the big 3..

the big three allows more current to travel to the batteries from the alternator.

it bulks up connections to allow higher amounts of amperage to flow.

if you look at the wire going from the alternator positive to the battery, I know on my car, it is tiny.

you are limited by that wire to get current.

stepping just the positive wire up to a nice 2/0 size increases voltage.

so yes the big 3 will make a difference.

Furthermore is decreases the resistance in the wire resulting is less voltage lost going from the alt to the battery/battery bank.

i dont think so. and thehoe also just made another point since u already have a fuse about what 8 to 10 inches from your battery between ur amp and bat. why use another fuse.
