The 9886 doesn't have as many X-over and EQ specific ranges to fine tune if I remember correctly, that's why I chose to go with the 9887. Quote CERTIFIED BITCHES!!! I love my 9886, but the i don't like how all i have is a treble control, w/ no crossover and such but its still a great unit.
