Alpine Cda-9887 Vs Cda-9886

Recommended Posts

The 9887 has a everything the 9886 has but a few more features and flexibility.

The 9886 doesn't have as many X-over and EQ specific ranges to fine tune if I remember correctly, that's why I chose to go with the 9887.

I love my 9886, but the i don't like how all i have is a treble control, w/ no crossover and such

but its still a great unit.

9887

the only thing i dont like about mine is i have to get the imprint module to fully use it to its potentil

other than that it is amazing

you can adjust ALOT of frequncy bands without the imprint module, learn your HU.

Damn straight.

The imprint just offers a few more options. You can get it set actually very precisely without it which is nice, but getting the imprint just takes it to the next level.
