redbaron80
With the car on, my current on the alt shows 13.5 volts on my DMM. This was the cheapy I got on ebay a few years back. What SHOULD the charge voltage for this alt be? IT is a 165 alt, have no idea the brand, it was like $ 150.00 when I got it. I'll be ordering my new 200 sometime in March. Edited February 23, 2009 by redbaron80 Quote Official Scores at the Dash. and YES. ptcary
What is your car regulated at? Do you have an MLA module? My PT is regulated at 13.6 regardless of the alt, unless a MLA is in place. gotFI?
alt did 14.4 when you first got it. seems the alt is no match for those kinetik 2400's you got. mine seems to be holding 14.4 just fine. crossing my fingers

I DO have an MLA, set at 14.7 volts for my ride, otherwise the computer goes crazy (from what the guys at MLA said). Highest my voltage ever goes (on the battery side) is 14.7 Edited February 23, 2009 by redbaron80 Quote Official Scores at the Dash. and YES.
