2 18's Or 4 12's?

well id look into a pair of DC's. do u have any particular ones in mind?

I was looking at the RE sx's, Fi Bl's, AA havocs, and DC lvl 4's....all of them are around the right price range and i think decent as far as matching up with my amp, but which one do u think i should go with?

i would stick with the L7s..thats 576 sqin 2 18's are only 508sqin BUT if you go with 2 solo X 18s that 648 sqin..

Can your 12's get down low? If you like your low lows I'd go 18 but I like the 4 12's

they get pretty low.....but bc i have have the box tuned so low they dont pick up the highs great either like a 12 normally can, which is why i was thinkin well if im going for lows anyway i might as well go with the 18's

Fail...the 12's are L7's and they have a square shape which actually gives them more cone area. But RE, FI, DC or AA would have better quality cone over the L7. 18's FTW.

def do the 18's... jut make sure you have enuff room, and make a good box.

the box aka install is the most important part

Your tuned at 35....I didn't know that was low... to me 33hz is low and below that is FTW! I'm tuned at 31hz my subs have a much lower Fs than your and I can play 40-45hz....extremely loud....louder than my low lows....

that was my old box man.....new box that i have is 33 hz.....and idk what to tell you but my L7's just dont pick up the highs like i think a 12 should, and i like the lows better anyway which is why i thought i would go with the 18's.
