The enD Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 There isn't going to be a hairtrick if my subs are in the trunk ? The port must be connected with the inside of the car ? Quote
meade916 Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 with enough power, you should be able to do a hairtrick from the trunk....you will have to aim forward and isolate the baffle though.... aiming backwards sounds good (depending on the situation) but any energy lost thru the trunk lid and taillights would almost certainly kill your hairtrick dreams. The enD Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 The best way to place my subs ? Forward , backward or upward ? For daily listening Quote
Sable Nave Posted March 3, 2009 Author Report Posted March 3, 2009 x2 :hairtrick: both down FTW. Okay Everybody, thanks for the advice. Hopefully I can do one, those subs move a shit ton of air for the wattage that I am running them at. I will definitely have a video Wednesday or Thursday no matter what. Sable Nave Posted March 3, 2009 Author Report Posted March 3, 2009 The best way to place my subs ? Forward , backward or upward ? For daily listening I found out that you should experiment with the direction of subs, and see what one works best for you. When I had mine in the trunk, firing upwards was the loudest, but it varies from car to car IIRC. Boon Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 I'm a pessimist but if you can pull even a sorta hairtrick from 2 15's getting like 350w each in a trunk car then you're doing REALLY well. I can't really move hair with 4kw on a DD9515 from a hatch ;/ Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
