Is This A Bad Idea? (box Design)

I am planning to build this box for the 2 Alpines I mentioned in an earlier topic. It comes out to 6.2 gross, 6 cubes net. The port is 5x8.5 and it's tuned to 32hz according the the12volt.com port calculator. Is the shape and port placement a bad idea? Or do you see anything else that would be a problem? The port is on the side because of the odd shape of the box. Trying to save as much trunk space as possible. Thanks

pic would be nice

sideport is almost always fine, just make sure you have one port width from the port to the side of your car at minimum, any less and some funky stuff happens.

(you said yours was 8.5x5...so make sure you have like 8 inches between the box and side of the trunk to allow for airflow)

monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now)
