probably low voltage and clipping it to all hell...

whats the gain settings like?

i was thinking low voltage, thats why i asked about the specs... if you got just a regular batt up front, you should replace that, and if you got cash add a 2nd one in the back just to help with the power

i own 2 of the same amp. it is nothing to worry about man. it is maxxsonics very inaccurate way to let you know you are clipping the signal. it is not very accurate though. i called them about the same problem.

You're just cooking your subs, it's nooooothing to worry about :P

Check your voltage and gains, there's a good reason that it's clipping.

ok, well its a really cheap system and it uses just the standard battery and the sub is temporary (USB2071) so is doesent matter if i cook it lol

so how to i go about wiring an extra battery in the boot at what sort of battery do i use for this

oo and its in a really rubbish 2000 punto lol
