So we got out the tools and work bench and started to map out the pieces... So here is the finished sheet mapped out... Then we brook out the safety glasses.. DAMN some needs to shave.. Now its time to cut some wood. Now this is Andrew's first time using a circular saw so I had to let him get use to the vibration and the power of it. Didn't take long before he was ready.. Now this is a nice strait line for ya.. Now granted I was holding the Level for him to use as a rip guide, but he did a outstanding job cutting. He cut all the wood minus a 6 inch section that was getting caught up.. Shat man need to pull up then pants.. Didn't mean to give you guys a ass shoot... So we got all the stuff cut and will start to put it together tomorrow... I had a couple of mock up pictures but they seem to have disappeared on me.. oh well will get them on tomorrow.. Enjoy.... Your kid will look back on this in a few years with great memories, and if he continues with boxes by the time he's grown he will have big talent in building and designing! When I first came into this scene I was only 14 and my parents, although supportive (kinda?) weren't really into it so it was hard to find a direction. Luckily, a little while later I came into contact with one of the biggest SPL competitors in the country, and he lived right in my state He was very patient and extremely helpful pointing me in the right direction on how to build good boxes and what works and what doesn't. After that everything changed and I started heading somewhere. What I'm getting at, is if I didn't have someone to show me I'd still probably be circling round and round doing the same old shit. I'm surprised Tyler Clem isn't competing in this stuff yet.

I like that design...Ill get the boy up here in a bit and have him read over that..I think putting the math to a picture will help him a lot.. So that design would be able to hold that 3" x 8.63" port... nice.. As far as the 8" i was totally going off the RF specs not the new specs (room we have) On a side note... I meet up with Chris after work yesterday. Was impressed by that 10" he has.. If I didn't know what it was I would never in a lifetime guessed a 10" sub.. Kudos Chris.... He also mentioned some of the other guys that live in the area and next time you guys meet up I wouldn't mind meeting some more of you guys. I have bigger plans for my build and want to get into competition. as a matter ah fact next weekend we r gona be doin alot of extra bs to my car the alero build i think chris said he showed u some pics of it or wut not but if u wanna come over ur more then welcome to i kno me n chris and another member james well be here if u want u can pm me or somethin i can give u my cell number so u can get directions or w/e its up too u tho kansas city
