Wanted: Nasty Lows Help

so ive been getting into music that has been c+s or slowed down ... and most of those songs are hitting nasty lows .. but i can only pick up maybe the highest note of the run. i have a sealed enclosure cuz i cant fit 2 15s ported in a small saturn trunk.

1.) is it possible to get nasty with them lows in a sealed enclosure?

2.) how do i set my amp if its possible?

mind you im only working with roughly 1200rms (if that matters)

1) Sealed enclosures will get crazy low just not too loud

2) Turn you're subsonic filter off (or to it's lowest setting), set your low pass at about 80-100 Hz, if you aren't over powering you're subs already you might want to use bass boost at whatever Hz you want it to hit at...don't use too much bass boost tho. Personally i wouldn't use it at all or if i were gonna use it i would go to +5 db maximum, but if you are looking for that extra power to the lows then you might as well. Check if you're head unit has a high pass filter or a subsonic filter and match that to what you have on the amp.

I would cram as much polyfill in that box as possible. It tricks the subs into seeing a larger box and ultimatily drops the tunning frequiency of the sealed box.

does anyone know the ratio of polyfill:cubic feet it takes to fill a box?

1 pound of polyfill to every foot? is that the general assumption?

is there anything i need to watch out for when the box is filled? ie. power the subs less/more or just do everything normally?
