well i called my buddy up and said i neeeds midbassesss like now....so i shot over to the shop and we sorted through baskets and compression drivers....i really wanted to fit the 8" coaxials he builds but the are like 6+ inches deep!!!!! but they sound amazing beyond belief. anywho didnt really have time to take much in the way of pictures but heres the 2 on my couch :P i could have gone with hemp, or the kevlar thats yellow like the DD cones, but these cones were the functional of the bunch, rigid yet still can flex when playing the upper range.

actually i built them :) of course with his guidance lol..

its a 8" driver, 2" coil 100 w rms estimated depends where you crossem over...the rest of the specs are fly by wire :) single 4 ohm. i think if i cross them over at 80hz and use them up to 2000hz it should do good with what i have planned next.

oh and the reason for the sealed motor is that these are tailored for marine use. and it just happens to be the smallest assembly he had. the only thing i could gaurentee i would fit in my doors.

yea the cone is sexy :) hemp is so cool tho its green and similar! he also had carbon fiber but its not the optimal choice of cone shape.
