I would like to paint my sub box instead of carpeting it but i don't know what type of paint i should use or what a good brand is. I'm looking for something i could possibly pick up at home depot or lowes.

Depends on the wood. I like a good stain myself. My preferred application would be two coats of umbilical blood, but that shits expensive.

Can you imagine the raw spiritual power you'd be putting out from your box?

When painting a box you will need to do a couple of things. You will want to fill in the screw holes and uneven wood holes, and sand down smooth. I use a primer on my boxes before i paint them just as an added step but I do not know if it is needed. I prefer to use the textured spray paint, it comes in a variety of colors and also helps out with the box moving around in trunk.

I thought i had more pictures of the paint process on this box. Oh well :unknw:
