8 gauge and if you twist it good enough and take your time it will fit

What subs do you have and what terminals do they have? If theyre the push terminals (what my DC's have) they are cut big enough for 8 ga

It really depends on the setup. Generally, if you can't fit 8AWG in there, chances are you won't need it. Most bigger subs allow for 8 gauge wire to be inserted into the terminals.

But...let's say you have 20+ small subs. It would be a good idea to fit bigger wire in to help carry the signal with minimum loss. But that really only goes for large circuits. It wouldn't apply if each set of two were on their own separate amp.

Hope this makes sense.

But to answer your question, I use 8AWG on my MOJOs. They take it easily. I could probably get a little bigger in there, but it's unnecessary.

anything between 8 and 12ga will do. i personnally use 8 ga.

ok ex[plain this concept to me i have always wondered it how does 3000watts get to a sub through like 8 gauge when u need 1/0 to power the amp?

The amp changes the DC high amperage to AC lower amperage, and lower volume. Clamp one of the speaker leads one time, you'll see what's up. The more current DC going in, the more current AC coming out.
