AP Zoutes Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 it's maximum draw is only 350 amps Quote
AP Zoutes Posted October 10, 2006 Report Posted October 10, 2006 Seems like your always trying to prove me wrong...here is a quote from RF forum Dated 1/11/2006 There is no danger in running the unit's reserve to empty. The power supply will draw a maximum of ~350A of current period. Additionally the math that some have done for how much power for how long does not work out. As the level of charge in the high voltage system comes down the maximum power output is reduced not constant. Also the power is not just coming from the capacitors, the power supply can contribute nearly 5000 watts itself. It is not a simple linear math equation, but a differential equation. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tony D'Amore Design Engineer Rockford Corporation Quote
