Boon
Looking at your avatar, I hope that's not your 400.1 on top of your box. They use vertical MOSFETs and are VERY VERY prone to vibration damage, if an output FET snaps off the entire amp goes up in smoke, $400 repair bills... Quote 10.x volts fo' life! I have nowhere else to mount it. I think ill throw like carpet or some rubber washers under the screws/ feet. I have no where else to mount it though. What would you recommend i do? brewer_brewer
rubber washers will help but the whole box will still vibrate and the sound waves will cause some vibration. other than the rubber washers, there isn't much you can do. you should be cool though. Alright, i'll give that a try, it should work somewhat decent. I was also thinking about putting a floor under the amp. Like have Half inch mdf; put rubber washers under it, then put rubber washers under the amp as well. And see how that works out... E a r t h
is it just me, or are those 4gauge power inputs? seems a little small for the power it would need to pull for competition use. Daily not a problem more then likely, just my thoughts
