Decaf Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 do some resin or another pvc quarter along the bottom back of the box... so the air exiting/entering the port isnt shoved against a 90 degree angle right away brace the pvc ports maybe with something small... it is a lvl5 u know, destruction is the name of the game what kind of bracing are u doing for the box panels? looking good, has potential
Moore941 Posted September 9, 2009 Author Report Posted September 9, 2009 I didnt think about that, thx for the idea , I just make it like i did my last corners and tilt the box with the resin in the corner and let it dry, should make for a decent corner. and for bracing im gonna go some dowel rods, top to bottom, front to back, on each side right above the port and then also 2-3 layers of resin and mat in the corners. Moore941 Posted March 7, 2010 Author Report Posted March 7, 2010 wow so after almost 6 months i finally got an amp and time to finish this thing up. Ill get some pics up when i get the box finished and my truck cleaned out. Im really hoping to have this thing done by SBN so i can go and do some demo's but i dont like the box i have now i feel its to big and cone control is gonna be a big issue i have a feeling.
