Bumpindemlowzz
I have a 2000 cavalier which you need one of those modules to keep factory chimes when you install a aftermarket headunit. Is it possible to just relocate the stock headunit to somewhere unseen and splice the power and ground (or new ground) for the new headunit? I have had some bad experiences with those modules and want to avoid them in my car completely. Any suggestions? If i install it like any other headunit will it harm my car or anything? I dont need the chimes. Quote 2010 Silverado 18" DC XL 18 DC 2k XS Power Batts

Where would i get the new accessory power from? Theres two Power inputs on the hu they are 12 volt ignition switched and 12 volt battery constant. Would i just connect those both together and get the new accessory power? I want the radio to shut off when i get out the car.
