I side with conservatives simply because of the age old saying "if it's not broke, don't fix it" However no matter what, it's a simple fact that in no way could we keep the exact same principles that our country began with in this day and age, they didn't have cars back then but we do now, so understandably as new ideas come along so do new principles.

I like guns and I think if you qualify to buy and own one then you should be able to. There's alot of talk of liberal views against semi automatic weapons which I like's me some semi automatic weapons, so lately that's a good example of why I side with conservative on alot of issues.

In the recent elections I wasn't for mccain, I was just against obama. STRONGLY against obama I must say.

I'll put republican down on the poll, but you should have added "liberal" and "conservative" to the choices, would have given more flexibility to the poll.
