thats kool i could give u my box design lol its tuned to 37 but its no problem.. thats why i didnt double baffle it is cuz of the hatch curvature.. i have the stock batt which was new from the dealer i got it at and my powermaster d3100 and a stinger sp1700 in the back and i havent checked wit my multimeter yet but at idle mr rpms never drop and lights never dim so im doin pretty good but keep in mind its wired at 2 ohm..

haha naa im not placing the port on the back side. at first i was going to put it on the bottom going from left to right facing the hatch, and then realized it would be stronger if i make it vertical instead of horizontal. Then after sizeing it down a bit so that it would fit and i could pull the box in and out with ease...decided to put the port on top because it will have more room to vent than right up against the hatch door. the curviture of the hatch is a biatch though. i have (2) Werker brand 100 amp hour AGM batteries i got a helllllll of a deal on. And they fit perfect right behind the seats where i took out those little plastic storage compartments. R u finishing ur box any further or u gonna leave it all bare mdf? im f'in anxious to finish mine. im doin all the wireing tomorrow, gettin a new HU put in tomorrow, screwin the box togther after i put in alll the resin im using and then i gotta find a place that will line-x it for a good price and it should be complete. lots of pictures to take still.

did you take your wiper motor out too?

I had a box 39 in wide, it would slide in if I lifted it up some, the hatch is wider in the middle (unloaded of course)

I did remove my wiper motor, just a few bolts there.

My box is 40" wide and 19" tall.

well metered her today with a handheld meter not sure wat it was called or how accurate but stuck her in the wind shield and did a 150.8 on gorilla zoe money man.. well the high note was a 150.8 the low note which i believe is 36Hz hit a 149.3.. not sure how far it is off from a TL

well got on a term-lab last weekend and only did a 145.2dB at 46Hz but i had it wired at "2ohms" but my impedance rise was all the way up to 8ohm and my lil RF t4kw was still pushin 1200rms so not bad but still i wanna see some power so i wired it to ".5ohm" and then burped it again and only did a 145.5.. didnt clamp it that time but i burped it after 2 Xtreme Runs (MidwestSPL) so the sub was a lil worn out already but anyway SPLbox rebuild soon.. lookin to do ~6cubes net after displacement tuned at 46Hz with 3 4in Aeroports.. hopefully I see some better scores beings everyone that sat in it that day said it felt like a easy 149 and not no 145, i know its got it in it and my hatch is jus a lil gorilla and killin my score..

from what I've read on here 4 4in. ports or 2 6in. ports might work better for 6 cubes.

Yea I know but im also gunna be overpowering the sub alot too so I dont need alot of port.. Oh well I got time to design and build im in no rush

tune a lil lower and you may go up.

Sweet spot for me has always been around 42hz.

Also, I go down when holding the hatch. But go up if I have the front seat in a full upright position with the backrests as straight as possible. And fold down the arm rests. Then slide them up about halfway. (acts kinda like a loading wall)
