Gotta be some tricks out there for this. Vehicle: 2001 Ford Escape Head Unit: Kenwood Kdc-x592 All out for a rebuild. New shit coming in the next 30 days.

Boon Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 You could possibly even fit a new surround... peel the old one off, get a surround and dustcap from Sundown, pop the dustcap off, shim your coil and glue the new surround on. Mind you if Sundown do drop-in recones that's probably the easier option 10.x volts fo' life!

I just down feel like dropping $100 on a recone when the surround is scuffed a bit. Honestly the bit of surround that is peeling back is so thin I might just cut it off with a razor.
