BassJunkie
can you hear the compressor kick in? if the compressor is kicking in i'd try a $10 can of freon from walley world and see if it cools down any, if it does you have a leak, or it just needs recharged. Also if you do buy the can there, if your buying the small can, take the hose off the big can and put it on the small one so you'll have a hose lol Quote 1986 C20 Suburban 9 American Bass XFL 15's B2 M1MKII 14v XS Power Batteries Maxwell Caps Acoustical energy is free. cunokyle
Like mentioned above, listen to see if you hear the compressor "click" when you turn your switch to ac inside the vehicle. You can buy a can of freon with a gauge from someplace like NAPA for pretty cheap and try to charge it up as well. You can also get the stuff with stop leak in it to try to fix the problem. alphasig293
you can also take a wire and take off your ac compressor connector and touch the 2 connectors together, this will cut your compressor on too, if you have added freon and the compressor doesn't come on try that method, if it does come on you may have a bad relay, if it doesn't come on then more than likely your compressor is bad Quote 2005 Lariat F-150 On 30 inch DUBS 6 Crossfire XS-V2 18's 2 Cactus 12k's, 1 Cactus 1000, 1 sundown 100.4 12 - 6.5 Crescendo mids and 4 Crescendo supertweets SMD 340 alt, Mechman 270 alt 7 NSB 170 batterys
BigJohnny
Jesus don't use stop leak for anything.... it just causes problems and clogs shit up. it might work now, but later on down the road another problem will develop, and it will have been caused by stop leak. cunokyle
well the stuff is fun and the compressor is full.. any ideas ? Might have a blockage. Best bet at this point is to take it to a shop and have them check it.
