However I did get 2 of the 4 15's in and it sounds good. Most people wont sit in my car around here cuz they cant take it. Will have video up soon.

Nightshade Posted May 9, 2009 Report Posted May 9, 2009 For 4 of the Type R 15's you should do at least 120sqin of port. I would go as big as 196 like Bass said cause I don't ever follow the 16sqin per cuft rule because it's a stupid rule. My box only has 10.5sqin per cuft and it's loud as hell. I know that I have aeroports and it's a bit different, but I'm still a bit smaller then a lot of port area other people run. My teamate Heywood has an Explorer with 2 DD9515's in it and only has 60 sqin of port total in 6 cubes. It's a slot port with 10sqin per cuft and does over a 152 off of a single Stetsom 2k6d. My point really is that you don't need a ton of port area for it to work and be loud.
