Hostility Posted April 23, 2009 Author Report Posted April 23, 2009 (edited) how does this box sound? port side, sub facing roof. but the demensions i give you is as if you are looking at it reg. in a car. box Height - 13 length - 36 depth - 18 port - 3 - wide 11.5- tall 31 - length after sub displacement comes to 2.50cft3 @ 32.20hz, port area is 34.50 in2 but as it stands the height of the box is 13, sub cut out is 11.5 then add the .75 of each piece for the depth will this work or will i have to go height 14? OR do this and mounting the sub wont be an issue box height - 14 length - 37 depth - 17 port - 12.5 height 3 wide 32 length 2.57 cft3 @ 32.54hz, port area 37.50in2 also the max length i can have is 42 across the back of my truck until it hits the side plastic, so i wanted to try and keep it at least 6 inches away from anything blocking the port. this is a picture of how it will be built, just dont take notice of the dimensions in the picture!!!
