brewer_brewer
i wish my doors came off like that. build looks great man. do you mean the belt slips off when you start it? you might want to check to make sure the idler isn't cocked a little (not at the same degree as the alternator pulley) or maybe the tension isn't tight enough. just a thought. Pioneer~Saturn
Thanks guys, and yea im pretty sure it's slightly untrue to the alt's pulley and it basically just wobbles for one rotation then slips off But next week it should be resolved, the guy's going to take a look at it and fix it. Pioneer~Saturn
And I got the two side's done and one mounted.. The jig to make mounting the panels a bit easier.. The other side panel...this wont go on until the enclosure is almost completely done because it'll be easier to work on the enclosure and get to the port area without it in the way.. Pioneer~Saturn
The car sits at: -One bulk pack of Dynamat Xtreme -2 rolls of Raamat -5 gallons of Spectrum Sludge The back doors have about 4 layers of raamat and a coating of sludge, the outer body panel/skin of the rear doors has a thick layer of sludge with a layer of raamat over it...the trunk lid is filled with expanding foam, layer of dynamat xtreme, and then a very thick layer of sludge over it all (weighs around twice the stock trunk lid weight)...the cieling behind the b-pillar has 5 layers of raamat...etc etc I plan on doing a double-layer of damplifier pro upfront on everything once I have the cash after this setup is getting finished up. And everything comes off with very basic tools if you need tools at all...I freakin love working on my saturn Team Tupperware <First dual-alternator 'real' Saturn (pre-2002) on the planet>(3) 15" Fi SP4's fed by (2) M3a's strapped @ .66712.75 cubes net @ 25Hz with 200 sq inches of port area (lowz...?)Stock alt position (custom bracket) 225 amp Mechman Roof = steel and fiberglass (u mad?)(2) XS Power D3100's, (2) rhino batts, No battery upfront (for now, smh)4 power+ 4 ground runs of 1/0-gauge to rear"If its been done before...you're doing it wrong" : ) "stfu about scores and float $hit..."
