I'll agree with that. For the power he's gonna be using the CVRs would be a better bang for the buck. No doubt the Type Rs are good but I would only use them if feeding them more power. I have done a couple of type r's with those boxes and they sound pretty good. Im not sure but u can try sonicelectronics.com or just search. dwz Posted May 2, 2009 Report Share Posted May 2, 2009 I have two 12" Type R's and I've blown two of them. They're very clean and also loud enough to get you started... Just make sure you don't mess up your gains, run bass boost, or have ANY type of clipped signal going to them. As long as you keep it at 500w RMS and don't bump it for 4 hours straight, you should be fine. Great choice, they're really affordable.
