I saw a Velleman somewhere around the $100 range.

that would make my day if you could find me that, or a used one in good condition.

There's a kind of big difference between a 'good' O-Scope and a GOOD O-Scope.

To be a giant arsehole, those Velleman handheld ones aren't up to much more than hobbyist type stuff, they're fine for general audio but as soon as you have a play with a proper scope you realise there's a big difference...

Stuff like Fluke, HP and Tektronics will cost you $2000+ for a nice handheld Scopemeter.
