I'd like to add there's no warranty for BTL! unless they changed that, there is with the Orion!

When you have a failure rate like the failures from their previous sub (h2), I would include a warranty as well..

i never asked or knew if there was a warranty or not but either way, if you have a problem that is CLEARLY not your fault, then Scott would take care of it for sure. If it IS your fault, and 9.9999 times out of 10 it is, then why should he pay to fix your fuck-up?

the tinsel problem is the only issue a BTL ever had (that i know of) and its been resolved for over a year now.....other then that, you drop 2000 CLEAN, non clipped watts on a BTL and DONT play below tuning (like all subs), you shouldnt EVER need a warranty.

Meade, I was saying that since the h2's was poorly designed and they failed so much that they should include a warranty with their new version.. I wasn't saying anything about the btl.. I went with them after I dropped my h2's.. I have had my btls for as far back as I can remember and put them through pure hell.. Mine are the first gen and I have had ZERO failure rate with them..

If those are the two choices I say the BTL now if the HCCAs were 15's I say do that cuz I have heard the HCCAs and they loved the low end. But your better off with the BTL in this case Cone Area FTW!!!!

again, install dependent.....i can make any sub sound great and that same exact sub sound like shit with two different installs.

2 Orion 12's in a good box > 4 BTL 18's in a bad box

4 Orion 15's in a bad box < 1 BTL 15 in a good box

I got ya. I gave my opinion. I know what ur saying is totlay true Ive seen a shit ton of cone area sound like shit and two 12's sound really good. I was saying if he could get two 15's powered right and in the right box I think it would be louder than one 18 powered right in the right box. But as far as I know he cant so I said the BTL.
