Bryan
what ohm load is your T1 and what stablilty is that amp? its a d4ohm and the amp is 2ohm stable and it will be giving it around 550watts Quote MMM BASS OATS..ITS WHAT I HAVE FOR BREAKFAST 2 AudioQue HDC3 18'' subs Rockford Fosgate T1 6.5 mids MMATS 2000.05 XS Power D1200 Knukonceptz 1/0 Pioneer Premier DEH-P490iB " Shit I can roll a blunt better than those bitches in Havana!"- Uncle Elroy
Chode69
well thats a 2 channel amp so you should have gotten a dual 2 ohm sub so you can wire it to 4 ohm mono and get even more power. that sub will handle a good 800-1000 RMS. ive seen it done is it the 12 or 15? Chris
With that fuse rating (given your charging system stays at a steady 14.4v) The amp would put out 576 wattsrms at a non-resistant load. You will have to wire one coil to each channel however the amp will not be putting out anything near what it could be since each coil is 4 ohm. Chode69
you can either wire that sub to a single channel at 2 ohm OR you can wire each coil to a channel at 4 ohm. your not gonna get the most out of that amp or sub. you cant bridge that sub to 4 ohm only 2 or 8 ohm. and bridging it to 2 ohm mono will not be stable and wiring it to 8 ohm mono is the same as wiring each channel to 4 ohm....so basically you should see if you can swap for a dual 2 so you can get the most out of both the sub AND the amp. ChevyBoy
i would say just ditch the amp, keep the sub, and find an amp worthy enough for a t1. that wouldnt even push enough to it even if it was a d2. whats weird though, it that the amp calls for 4 gauge even though 8 gauge can handle 40 amps like a champ lol.
