mine went bad after a month too, the part where voltage shit shows nothing. the top were says stinger sys on even with no turn on lead connected.

This is the 2nd one that has gone bad on me , the voltage display worked for a month

or two then the display cuts out, works once then not the next, now all i have is the

STINGER on & the # "5" that stays on even when the car is OFF ?

I have one that's been in my Explorer for a bit and working perfect but then I have another that turns on but won't read the correct voltage. It just displays what it wants too regardless of adjustment.

I just got mine and haven't had any problems with it yet.....But mine was in different packaging and has a remote wire.

Try these guys if your looking for a meter. I purchased a temp. display from them. The units are nice, decently priced and didn't seem cheaply built (however, DO NOT reverse the polarity on the temp displays......... nuff said)

I had mine installed for over a year and that son of a never did display the correct voltage. Was always 1 volt or less off from actual voltage. I took mine out.
