not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be.

This is the 2nd one that has gone bad on me , the voltage display worked for a month

or two then the display cuts out, works once then not the next, now all i have is the

STINGER on & the # "5" that stays on even when the car is OFF ?

I have one that's been in my Explorer for a bit and working perfect but then I have another that turns on but won't read the correct voltage. It just displays what it wants too regardless of adjustment.

Same, no problems with mine... about 6 months ago when I purchased it.

I had mine installed for over a year and that son of a never did display the correct voltage. Was always 1 volt or less off from actual voltage. I took mine out.
