The Vette will hold its value.

a Camaro is NOT a Vette with back seat.

The experience of driving a Vette is more than a motor.

The Qty of Camaro's that will be built will make the market saturated just as the pt cruiser did.

Its your money buy what fits your style otherwise you wont be happy making payments for something you dont like.

Considering the state of the economy and how low peoples moral is at the moment, I wouldn't trust the quality of the Camaro at this time. Followed by the fact that it is a first generation car, my vote is for the Vette.

I don't think GM can afford to build a lemon right now, first-gen or not.

In fact, currently a primary GM sub-mission is proving that it can build cars that can compete with foreign competition on an international basis. The new CTS and Malibu are examples.

I dont think GM ever plans to build lemons, they just happen...every car company has them, whether it be foreign or domestic. That being said I would go for the vette. Like stated earlier, the vette is a completely different animal than the camaro. I personally would take a corvette over most cars on the road, even the italian supercars. It's all preference. If you want to be one of the first group of people to own a camaro you're going to have to pay WAY over retail, just like the first owners of the C6 Z06 did. I think the 03 vette would give you the best bang for your buck.

My System:

Pioneer AVH-P3200BT

4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors)

8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash)

1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs)

2-18" BTL's (for now)

Crescendo 3kwp (for sale)

Complete rebuild coming soon...

The camaro is sick...but idk if someone is going to develop aftermarket gear to upgrade the audio (I mean all you would need is a 360, but i like to ditch factory HU's)

Why couldn't they have put some standard double din...like they always have been doing in their other cars

There is a big ass difference between the 2 imo especially price wise. Ive seen 03 Corvettes go for 20-22K as for the camaro Ive seen them around 28K+ for the base model let alone a SS.

id go gor the camaro, but ive been wondering about how many and how cheap they are gonna go for, id hate to see them everywhere, like some decent cars in the past, i know its not even close but lets use the 300c for example, that car would be pretty dam nice if there werent like 10 on every dam block around, and if they all only came with the big ol v8
