SeRReAL Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 New to this car audio forum, what should i do for a charging system in a 2006 nissan sentra because right now with the setup i have it drops down to 3-4 volts, and was thinking about doing a charging system in it for a while and was wondering what path should i go, should i go with a dual alt setup with 2-3 batteries and sacrifice my ac or should i go with a 300 amp alt with 2 batteries or what because the amp i have in there right now is a xa1500 powerbass mono block amp powering a mojo 12in and in about a couple of months i going to upgrade to the 4000 mojo amp and put 2 qvc 15 mojos walled in there so i was wondering if i did any of these upgrades would it be enough or would i have to go with more power or would it be too much or what, anything advice would help.

It really depends on how hard your trying to drive the amp etc...the 300amp alt is a good start, I would say go with it and a good amount of battery since you are walling it, does that leave your trunk open for user space? I dont know how deep your pockets are but the kinetik 3800 batts would be a good choice along with the power master D3100s...if you cant get them, the Deka 9A31 is a great budget battery. obviously get as many as you can to help on voltage dip etc.

Decaf Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 big 3 usually takes an hour or so... u should get one ho alt replace the stock battery with the biggest you can fit under the hood and two g31 batteries should be great... u might be able to get away with 2 g34 personally id do 2 runs of 1/0 power wire to the rear batts too and i too love knukonceptz, great product
