Numatik's Half Pipe Build Thread *UPDATED DAILY ALMOST DONE!!*

Recommended Posts

That's kinda retarded that you have to pay to get the lines moved. Seems like you pay your taxes to the city, that should be their responsibility to move them.

When we built our shop in our backyard we just called the city and they came out and lifted the telephone line on the pole so it would be within code distance from the roof, and we didn't have to pay them I don't think.

I hope thats the case, on monday im supposed to call them back and arrange for someone to come out and see whats up

i was thinking the roof thing myself...that half pipe is gonna be SOO badass!!

also lets HOPE no scarred storries are to be told..dont want anything happening to my fellow SMDers :friends:

(no homo) :D

haha good lookin out man. but hey il make sure to cover the ramp with smd stickers so if it does get n scarred we'll get some advertising on mtv!!

If you don't mind me asking, about how much does it run to build of these? I was thinking about building a 4x8 mini ramp. Also, you know where I can find some plans for building one? The only ones I can find you have to pay for.

As in 4 foot wide, by 8 foot long? Is that even skateable?

You shouldn't need to pay for plans to build a ramp. As long as you know your structure basics and how to build it strong, you're good to go. There's alot more to google than finding porn.

later tonight il post up my expenses on this ramp, i have them all figured out

i used to have a 4' x 8 x 29' mini that was the 2nd ramp i built. if i remember correctly it cost around 900 but can be alot cheaper if u have any hand outs or deals on lumber

as far as plans, wwww.rampplans.org is a great resource with lots of free plans. a 4' is relatively easy and i would recommend a 7' tranny. mine rode awesome!
