Just gotta paint the port one more time to cover up some spots I missed, get my speaker wire through there (havent decided how i wanna do it yet), and carpet it. I know these subs are not really meant for SQ, but I wanna see what it can do. I'm still breakin them in (dunno if it's necessary but figured i might as well), but I let it crank up a little bit, and it was rattling the door on my friends house....40 feet away. I checked, and I think I can get a hairtrick out of it, no girls were handy though to check for sure. This amp is amazing, the gains haven't been over half, and it's hitting real hard already. Theres a lot left in it. Vids/pics comin soon. Only problem is, when I was bumpin it farily hard, there was a pretty noticeable time delay, as in the bass hit just a tad offbeat. I know I can correct this by using a processor with time correction, but is this normal?? Maybe it's just the subs? Or too much power? (that Rockford amp is a BEAST by the way) Andddd, I could feel air coming out the front passenger window, tried a hair trick, no go that time. Mayyybe with a different song/different hair haha Btw: This setup already rattled loose my front overhead console, one of the bolts came vibrating out. And those of you with tahoes (attn meade??), how did you stop the rear overhead console from rattling?? A lot stronger than a terminal cup or siliconing around the hole.
