***sean 371's Tahoe Build Log***

Haha lil story to go along with that, right after I took that video, the OTHER neighbor came out (keep in mind the house is about 100 feet away from the car, my house is pretty long) and told me that her walls and windows were shaking so much that it was freaking their dog out.

I can't wait to head out to the nearest parking garge!!

Nice work man.

Sure looks pretty loud.

I wonder what it'd do on a mic.

See if you can get that hairtrick and video it.

I can't do a decent hiartrick w/ 4 CVR 12s. but they're sealed.

Good luck man and keep the pics/vids comin.

Random question but i am wondering, what is the distance from the end of your port (so where your physical length of your port ends) to the rear wall of the enclosure?

Is it the same distance as the width of your port?

The port is 14" long, and the box itself is 21" deep, so if you take into account wood width, its about 6 inches.

Oh, I forgot to mention my deck now skips...

Does anyone have any ideas what this might be hitting on TL? I honestly have no idea, maybe mid 40's? hopefully?

I know some of you wanted feedback on these subs. well i just tried the system out on some hardcore/metal, and these subs are actually real precise. There's no muddiness in real fast double bass or anything. They pound too. Try some Through the eyes of the dead and you'll see what i mean.

Very happy with the L5's so far.

Thanks man, the terminals are just bolts with a ring terminal on each side. A lot stronger than a terminal cup or siliconing around the hole.

fyi drilling holes and just pushing through the wire then siliconing is stronger than the bolt style terminal

although its not gonna really make any kind of diffrence

Very nice system. I like the vids as well.

Any info on the deck skippin? I'd like to know as well, mine does the same thing. Any tips/tricks to keep it from skippin?

I think its just the fact that my deck's pretty entry level, and the vibration from the subs cause it to skip. No idea how to stop it, but it only skips when I'm really slammin it, which isn't too often, so I'm okay with the skipping.

And as for the pushing through the holes and siliconing, I figure if the bolt method is strong enough for Meade, it's more than strong enough for me. Plus I think it looks cleaner.
