ok so i fought myself for awhile going back and forth between the orions or a btl. i decided two 15'' 4ohm orions would be sufficient for my land rover, im not looking for contest winnings, just want to show off. so i had to get something to power them, i bought 2 5500 BAMF's from power acoustik i wired them in slave mode which there are 2 options for me now, 1ohm or 4 ohm im afraid of going to 1ohm because that may blow to subs but 4 ohm is no where near the max. on the subs... im only 17 and im looking to do :hairtrick: .. just looking for other's views

by the way the orions are amazing, i had 2 15'' l7's before and the quality on the hcca's is like no other, when comparing it to the l7s.

HCCA's are legit. We started carrying orion again last year, and I am impressed with them. Price tag is a little high though...

you could get d2 ohm config on the subs and just do 1 amp per sub at 1 ohm?

*edit* i thought when you master/slave 2 1ohm stable amps it comes out ot a 2 ohm load on the amp?

the problem with that is the subs are in a box that is just open on the inside (there is no seperating wall) and one port; so im not sure if that will work... and i also would like to keep just one bassboost remote rather than 1 per amp
