OrenB217 Posted May 28, 2009 Report Share Posted May 28, 2009 A friend of mine just got back from a spl competition in Moline, IL and said that a RD Heavyweight 15" beat a Fi BTL 15" on LESS wattage by 7 db. Again, RD Audio is expensive as hell, just like TC Sounds, but today was the first time I heard good things about RD cuz before I heard that they are overrated. Just wanted to see what you guys heard/thought about RD. NoFearX18 Posted May 28, 2009 Report Share Posted May 28, 2009 A lot is involved there.... It may have beat the Fi but was the Fi tuned for SPL? Were they in the same box, same tuning, same vehicle? Otherwise the scores dont really say much. The BTL could be tuned LOW and the RD could be tuned HIGH. Regardless 7db is impressive... I wont run RD though.... My Videos AQ + AA/Fi FTMFW!!!!!
