(the 3 cylinders don't have enough horsepower at idle to turn the alternator) You could bump up the idle speed somewhat and get away with it. Belt slip can also be an issue because of the tiny belt used on those vehicles. Our 200 amp unit would probably be the best choice. They are $449 shipped.
