Team_DC-Derrick Posted June 1, 2009 Report Posted June 1, 2009 (edited) try running your remote wire to your pos batt wire in your amp, and see if it stays on, could be faulty remote wire *edit* cut a piece of speaker wire.. take your old remote wire out... plug the speaker wire into your remote wire and your batt input wire and see if it stays on, then play it some and if it stays on its your remote wire Edited June 1, 2009 by Army_guy614 Quote The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... fangsta Posted June 1, 2009 Author Report Posted June 1, 2009 was the amp hot? yeah i felt it and it had some heat on it but i didn't think it was hot enough to overheat. thought maybe it did but i haven't tried it yet. try running your remote wire to your pos batt wire in your amp, and see if it stays on, could be faulty remote wire*edit* cut a piece of speaker wire.. take your old remote wire out... plug the speaker wire into your remote wire and your batt input wire and see if it stays on, then play it some and if it stays on its your remote wire so just run some of the remote wire to the battery? kingsuv Posted June 1, 2009 Report Posted June 1, 2009 Sounds like it went into thermal protect on you. Let it rest over night or until it is much cooler and then check it. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
