try running your remote wire to your pos batt wire in your amp, and see if it stays on, could be faulty remote wire

*edit*

cut a piece of speaker wire.. take your old remote wire out... plug the speaker wire into your remote wire and your batt input wire and see if it stays on, then play it some and if it stays on its your remote wire

yeah i felt it and it had some heat on it but i didn't think it was hot enough to overheat. thought maybe it did but i haven't tried it yet.

so just run some of the remote wire to the battery?

Sounds like it went into thermal protect on you.

Let it rest over night or until it is much cooler and then check it.

Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)
