I thought about that but with it being in the trunk and the seats dont fold down I dont think that it is going to be an issue.

I had 2 12 jl audio subs ported similar and didnt have any port noise that was audible in the car...

Close its actually 2.5 after displacement. I figured that at 3 in x 3 tuned to 37 hz will give me a -3 db roll at 31 hz, like I said it may be but with the flared port it actually doesnt make that much noise in my past experiences.

if I went with 2, 4 inch ports I would be looking at 4 x 16.3 and I dont have the room for that without porting it on the left and right sides, but cant do that cause the box is made to fit snug in the wheel wells

You could do a slot port forward...It'd be a little tough to do it now, but it could be done for sure. You'd be able to get a solid 16-20 inches of port length that way.

I also thought about that but you will see what I am going for when I post more pics. on the noise factor I just did some quick calculations and my port velocity will be around .03 (mach) not near enough for much noise the acoustic power of my drivers is 1.55 so it should turn out o.k.
