made a 6 hour round trip today to pick these up. 98 lbs and 134.8 AH each

All I can say is OMFG this build is looking sick so far. It makes me want to buy a 4 door car and wall the back seat lol. I am working on my build tomorrow and hopefully it looks nice cause I think it will. Keep the pics coming man!

like you said, who needs backseats? there's nothing like having a couple 18's to the back of your head. plus there's plenty of room in the trunk for batts/amps and then maybe even some grocerys

well the 2 97lb batts are going in the back seat floor board one on each side, that way there is less weight in the rear so maybe it wont sag as much.

my 35 lbs of 1/0 from scottie should be here later this week, all pre-terminated. ~96 feet

also got 80' of 8 gauge coming for the 18's.

My 40.1 is still at dB-r for a full repair.

i missed 3 days of work this past week cause of an eye injury so my check is gonna be hella short this week but i still need to get my DC power alt which will be the epicenter for my electrical. i would rather go without any bang than risk frying my amp.

im hoping to have this Done by end of September.

k just a little update with a few pics, should receive the other box of 1/0 with the 8 gauge for the subs tomorrow.

wiring will go like this :

2 runs of negative and 2 runs of positive to the first batt in front of the wall

3 positive and 3 negative to the second battery on the other side

3 positive and 3 negative to the trunk, 2 of each to the 40.1 then the other negative and positive to a distribution block

4 gauge Hyperflex from the distribution block to my Memphis mca-3004 for the highs.

also will be doing the big 3 as i haven't done that yet....

i'm also thinking of using 4 6" PSP flared ports instead of the traditional slot port, i've heard they are way more efficient therefor not having to use as much port area.

so expect some updates soon
